Our clients brief was to turn this internal garage into a third bedroom. They wanted a room that felt natural with a twist on coastal, a calming and relaxed holiday feel.

The room has a fresh but feminine vibe, the rattan headboard helps set the theme with a simple slatted teak, glass top bedside table which is functional while adding elegance. An abundance of cushions adds luxury. We have incorporated textiles and bedding in hues of golden amber and earthy blush with hits of mossy green.

This little rattan bench seat can be moved around the room too perch on if needed. The feature wallpaper has a sandy texture and a neutral colour while the paint choices are Resene 'Barely There' on the walls and 'Sea Fog' on the ceiling.
